"A Special Thank You to St. Ambrose Parishoners and all
who gathered to volunteer their services to make Thanksgiving such a special
time for the less fortunate of Summit County, including Springtime of Hope
residents, The Haven of Rest and Peter Maurin Center, as well as others. These
volunteers cooked 600 turkeys and prepared 6000 meals to include Hot Turkey,
mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes, stuffing, and green beans! They even provided
boxed lunches for our residents to eat later in the evening. The first picture
is Stanley, Sherry and Tony who were serving at St. Bernards as they loaded my
car for delivery. Each of our residents received a hand made Thanksgiving card
in their boxed lunches! How beautiful! God is so good!"
